About Me
Hey there — I’m Mardesia, the planner-loving, pharmacy-trained, coffee-fueled brain behind PlanRx Insights. I’m also a part-time Pharmacy Technician, still actively working in the field while teaching and building digital tools for students and educators.
By day, I’m a Business Instructor at an Allied Health college, teaching future Medical Assistants, Dental Assistants, and Health Information students how to navigate everything from Microsoft Word to mock interviews (and how to not panic during either). Before that, I spent four years as the Pharmacy Technician Instructor, drawing on over a decade of hands-on experience behind the counter and in clinical settings. I’ve walked the talk — and worn the scrubs.
My Biography
But let’s rewind a little further. Before the teaching, before the pharmacy, I ran a blog all about couponing, deal hunting, and making ends meet with style (and spreadsheets). That blog taught me a lot about writing, marketing, and how to make people actually want to read helpful content — even if it’s about toothpaste deals or budgeting hacks.
That love for clear communication and intentional living led me to create PlanRx Insights — a digital hub for people like me (and you) who juggle a million things but still want to grow, organize, and plan with purpose.
Here, I combine everything I’ve learned from healthcare, teaching, planning, and just real life — into digital products like:
- Planner pages for students and instructors
- Journaling tools for reflection and growth
- Career readiness kits with real-talk advice
- Templates that make life just a little less chaotic
So whether you’re prepping for your externship, planning your next term, or just trying to find where you left your to-do list (check the fridge, maybe?)
From planning to profession, this is where insight meets intention.
